Thank you for choosing Hex Nines for your bike repair and maintenance.
Before we begin, please read and agree to the following terms:
- Care and Responsibility
I understand that Hex Nines will take all reasonable care when working on, transporting, and storing my bicycle and its parts.
- Transport, Repairs and Storage
I understand that sometimes my bike or its parts may be taken to an alternative location for repair by a Hex Nines bicycle mechanic. This will be discussed should the need occur.
- Unforeseen Damage
I accept that Hex Nines cannot be held responsible for damage caused by pre-existing wear, hidden faults, or parts failing unexpectedly while being worked on.
I understand that Hex Nines mechanics may carry out work on my property using their own tools and equipment as required to complete the agreed services. Hex Nines and its mechanics will exercise reasonable care while performing work around my property and personal belongings.
Hex Nines holds public liability insurance to cover injury or property damage caused by negligence. This does not extend to cosmetic damage or wear and tear.
I allow for Hex Nines to use the water/electric resources from my property as reasonably required to complete the requested work.
- Service Scope & Estimates
All work will be carried out as agreed at the time of booking or inspection. If extra parts or labour are required, Hex Nines will contact the customer for approval before proceeding. Prices quoted are estimates only and may vary depending on the condition of the bicycle or parts.
- Customer-Supplied Parts Disclaimer
Where the customer supplies their own parts, Hex Nines is not responsible for incorrect fit, compatibility issues, or subsequent failure of those parts.
- Liability and Injury
I understand that cycling and mechanical work carry some risk. I release Hex Nines, its owner, and employees from any liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from the service, repair, or use of my bicycle after repair.
- Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
Customer information is collected only for booking, communication, and invoicing purposes and will never be shared with third parties without consent. Data is stored securely in compliance with the UK GDPR.
- Payment Terms
Payment for all work and parts is due in full before the return or release of any bicycle or parts to me. If payment is not made, Hex Nines reserves the right to retain possession of the bicycle and/or parts until full payment is received.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
Hex Nines requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a £20 late cancellation fee. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in payment being required at time of booking.
