Our pricing reflects the quality of our work, the care we take with your bike, and the ease we provide by coming to your desired location to work on your bike. With Hex Nines, you're paying for a hassle-free experience and the peace of mind that your bike is in expert hands.

We are fully set up to complete any repairs services or installations on the go, using high quality industry recognised tools and products.

Level 1 - £35

Ensure your bike is safe to ride with a thorough once over and a level 1 service report.

(Recommended between level 2 services)

  • Bike wash
  • Brake adjustment, pads checked for wear, cables lubricated 
  • Gear tune
  •  Safety check
  • All frame bolts checked for correct torque/tightness
  • Tyre wear checked and inflated to correct pressure
  • Chain checked for wear and lubricated 
  • Service report (via email)

Level 2 - £65

Prolong your bikes life with an interim relubrication of all its moving parts, a thorough safety check and a basic wheel true. Level 2 service report will be provided.

(Recommended every 6 months of regular use or 3-6 months if regularly riding in muddy, wet conditions)

Level 1 service plus:

  • Brakes and gears (cable): Pads checked,  cables replaced, rims cleaned and checked/disk rotors removed and cleaned, levers cleaned and lubricated
  • Brakes (hydraulic): Pads checked, systems bled, disk rotors removed and cleaned, levers cleaned and lubricated
  • Headset: Partial disassembly, greased and adjusted
  • Bottom bracket: Checked for play and smooth operation, bearings greased and re-adjusted
  • Wheel hub : Partial disassembly, greased and re-adjusted
  • Drive train: Chain, chain rings and cassette - cleaned and lubricated
  • Wheels cleaned and basic true of the tyres
  • Derailleurs cleaned and lubricated on frame
  • Service report (via email)

Level 3 - £125

Get the full Hex Nines service experience, a careful and comprehensive disassembly, clean, inspection and re-lubrication of all moving parts. Gives your bike the like new feeling and ensures its longevity. Includes a complimentary wash and polish with a level 3 detailed service report of the condition of every single part.

(Recommended annually for a mountain bike (MTB) and two yearly for road bikes) 

Level 2 service plus:

  • Bike disassembled to bare frame, washed and polished
  • Frame and derailleur hangar alignment checked
  • Threads and tubes cleaned/degreased and checked for damage.
  • Full component specific service
  • Comprehensive service report (via email)

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We provide most work to repair or replace parts. We also build new bikes, complete pre-delivery inspections and can build and true wheels. Please contact us for a quote or with any questions.

Please note that our service prices do not include the cost of parts unless stated. Any additional parts required during a job will be quoted separately, including both the part cost and associated labour. We believe in complete transparency and will always contact you to discuss any necessary additional work before proceeding, to ensure you are making an informed decision. Our aim is to avoid any surprises and keep you in control.*

*Payment will be agreed prior to any work being undertaken. Payment will be expected prior to the receipt of your bike or parts being worked on. If no payment is received, the bike or parts will be kept by Hex Nines to cover the costs incurred by labour or parts for the job.
